Customers had no way to see where their goods were, dispatchers reconstructed status by calling drivers, and management had no live picture of the fleet. As volumes grew, the cracks widened: missed delivery windows, disputes with no record, idle vehicles no one noticed, and a support line that existed mainly to answer ‘where is my shipment?’. The business needed to industrialise how it tracked, assigned and reported on every movement.
The brief was an enterprise control platform — a shipment-tracking interface for customers, a fleet and dispatch dashboard for operations, and a driver app in the cab — all feeding one live view of what is moving, where, and whether it will arrive on time.
